Instructions for tungsten carbide dies

Following suggestions will help to extend life time of tungsten carbide dies,

a. Facility: Set parameter of the tungsten carbide dies, especially reduction angle reasonably according to the wire and wire drawing machines.

b. Wire: Clean, descale, anneal the wires in advance to ensure the wire cleaness.
c. Lubricant: Choose qualified lubricant.
d. Problems:In wire drawing process, if the dies cracked or become black, diameter enlarged, wire scratched or broken, please contact technicians immediately.
e. Change the old dies in time to avoid any wire waste.
